Wabi Sabi
In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. It is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature. Characteristics of wabi-sabi aesthetics and principles include asymmetry, roughness, simplicity, austerity, intimacy, and the appreciation of natural objects and the effect of nature upon them.
